Las Patronas Presents the 69th Jewel Ball: Magnifique

La Jolla, CA, July 2, 2015 – On August 8, 2015 the 69th Annual Jewel Ball, Magnifique, will transport guests to the beauty and elegance of France.  Held at the always-beautiful La Jolla Beach & Tennis Club, 7:00 p.m. to 1:00 a.m., this unforgettable evening will be a tribute to French romance, fashion, and elegance.  Magnifique will feature lush gardens, architectural beauty, and design elements that will leave guests breathless.

“Most importantly, Magnifique will celebrate our tradition of helping theSan Diego nonprofit community.  We are so grateful for each of our underwriters, donors, advertisers, vendors and Ball guests, without whom we could not fund the grants that drive our mission to help support our very deserving beneficiaries. The Jewel Ball will be the culmination of our yearlong fundraising effort” says 2015 Jewel Ball Chair, Cari Massaad.

Led by Design Chairs Susan Barrera and Nicole Repp, the 50 women of Las Patronas have created an event full of beauty and elegance. The nearly 850 guests expected to attend will be greeted by hot air balloons drifting above the Loire Valley, fields of lavender shimmering in the breeze, bistro temptations for sampling after a pause in the Champagne court to greet friends old and new.  In the ballroom, the wonders of Versailles will await – half a world away for just an evening.  Dancing, dining and savoring all these moments will be truly Magnifique!

“Since 1946, Las Patronas has funded nearly $18 million to over 1,000 non-profit organizations covering every corner of San Diego County. Our worthy beneficiaries inspire us and challenge us to meet their ever-growing needs. On this special evening we will celebrate them, and our supporters, in grand French style,” says Las Patronas President, Annette Bradbury.
